Pilsner Urquell Brewery

The Pilsner Urquell Brewery is the place where the world known Pilsner Urquell beer originates – it has been produces here for more than 165 years. Many generations all over the world have enjoyed this unique drink which is renowned for its golden colour, pleasant and harmonious bitterish taste and thick foam.

A tour or the brewery takes the visitors to places where this legendary beer is produced. It includes both modern and historic plants and thanks to the unique multi-media sensory exhibition, the visitor gets to know the Pilsen Urquell brewing procedure literally through all the senses. Beer tasting straight in the historic cellars is a part of the tour (for adult visitors only)

The Brewery Museum

The Brewery Museum “tells” the story of beer and brewing. The original brewing house, in which the museum is located, breathes the atmosphere of the old times and reveals the secret of manufacturing, serving, and drinking of beer since the times immemorial.

The enjoyable exhibition is attracts all the curious lovers of history and brewing.

The exhibition includes a Late Gothic malt house, malt drying kiln, original drying shed, lager cellars, replica of a pub from the turn of the 19th and 20th century, late 19th century laboratory, and parts of town walls with a demonstration of barley and hop growing. Visitors above 18 years old can look forward to beer tasting of Pilsner Urquell beer during the tour.

Pivovar Purkmistr

- Brewery on the premises of a reconstructed farm with a stylish restaurant, hotel, coference hall and bowling. The beer hall offers four basic types of beer: 12° light lager Purkmistr, 12° semi-dark lager Purkmistr, 12° dark lager, 12 ° wheat beer Písař and a number of flavoured beers (blueberry, honey) and special beers (Christmas lager, Easter Beer).
