Canoeing down the Berounka River (about 4 – 5 hours)

Canoeing down the river from the confluence of the Mže and Radbuza Rivers – the origin of the Berounka River

- to the canoe camp at Dolanský Bridge. Transfer to the hotel.

Zorbing in the Rakolusky village on the Berounka River (About 3 hours with transfer).

Short cycling routes along the Pilsen rivers with additional programme

  • - Along the Úhlava River to the Victims of Evil Memorial (sightseeing and relaxation in the Mediation Garden). Return along the other bank of the Úhlava River to the hotel (about 2 hours).
  • - From the confluence of the Radbuza and Mže Rivers ascent to Bílá Hora District to Pecihrádek (site of a former wooden fortress) and further on along the Úslava River (optional beach volleyball), return round the brewery to the hotel (about 2 hours).
  • - Along the Úslava River to Božkov and Koterov Districts (optional horseback riding), further on to Čechurov District and back along the Úhlava River (optional wall climbing or high-rope-course with the instructor). Return back to the hotel (about 2 hours).
  • - From the confluence of the Rabduza and Mže Rivers to the bolevec Lakes, via the Axle Grease Kiln (historical landmark) to Radčice District and further through the Mže River flood plain back to the hotel (about 4 hours)
  • - Through Výsluní (“In the Sun”) area to the Czech Valley (optional relaxation and mini-golf in the Bory Park), return back along the Úhlava River to the hotel.
  • - Through the “Kilometrovka” tree lined alley, below Sylván area to Radčice District and further along the Mže River back to the hotel (about 2 hours). Optional visit of the ZOO.
  • - Along the Mže River in the direction to Křimice District to Skvrňany District. Four wheeler ride in the neighbourhood. Further on along the Vejprnický Brook back to the hotel (about 3 hours).

Historical train ride to the surrounding countryside: (the whole train may be rented including the dining carriage)

- optional sightseeing – Blatná chateau, Švihov Castle, Konstantinovy Lázně (little spa town), Chyše Chateau, Karlštejn Castle, Křivoklát Castle etc. The train ride can be combined with cycling (www.plzenskadraha.cz)

Company functions can be booked (including a banquet buffet) in the castles or chateaus in the vicinity. Can be combined with a historical train ride and/or a performance.

The Pilsen Beer Trail a.k.a. “beer after the lecture”

  • - Afternoon tour of the Pilsner Urquell Brewery and its multi-media sensory exhibition. Beer tasting of the world renowned Pilsner Urquell straight in the historic cellars is a part of the tour. Visit to the Lautensack Brewery and beer tasting or the local Lotr (Rogue) 13°.The Brewery Museum and a Pilsen night “pub crawl” (The Pub – a self service tap bar, The Venerable Camel – excellent non-pasteurized local beer…).
  • - Evening in the Purkmistr Brewery - beer tasting of local beers (12° light lager Purkmistr, 12° semi-dark lager, 12° dark lager, 12 ° wheat beer Písař, flavoured beers (blueberry, honey) and special beers (Christmas lager, Easter Beer) optional bowling.
  • - Afternoon trip to Chodová Planá. Sightseeing in the Chodovar Brewery and beer tasting of Chodovar beer in a unique restaurant located in the 800 years old rock labyrinth of brewery cellars. You are welcome to try a genuine beer bath or the original healing malt wrap or to buy beer cosmetics.
  • - Afternoon trip to Dobřany – the Modrá Hvězda (Blue Star) Brewery - beer tasting of local beers and beer specialities: light lager 10%, light lager 12%, dark Special 14%, semi-dark Special 16%, light Special 17%, special flavoured beers and beer based brandy.
  • - Visit of the Kalikovský mlýn (Mill) Centre beer tasting of Prazdroj 12° a Gambrinus 10°, get –together in the local restaurant or courtyard. Ladies are welcome to enjoy cosmetics saloon, hairdressers, and nail modelling. Gentlemen might be lured to the squash centre Kalikovský mlýn.
