The Municipal Meeting House (Beseda)
The Municipal Meeting House was built in 1901 by the Pilsen building contractor Frantisek Kotek. The architectural design of the building and its artistic decorations are predominantly in the Neo Renaissance (Secession) style. The Municipal Meeting House ranks among the most outstanding social and cultural facilities in Pilsen, boasting several social halls and lounges, the Beseda cinema and the Jonas Theatre and last but not least a renowned Secession style cafe. Since 1994 it has been a listed building.

The Peklo (Hell) House of Culture
The Neo Renaissance building of the former Workers Union House was built in the years 1905 - 1907. There is a Large and a Small Social Hall together with several classrooms. Since 1995, the premises host the Pilsen Patton Memorial Museum, the only American Army museum in the Czech Republic. The Large Social Hall with its excellent acoustics became a listed cultural landmark
