Churches

Ecclesiastical monuments form a major part of the Pilsen historical heritage. The city used to be a bulwark of Catholicism even in the times when Bohemia was dominated by the Hussites. Nowadays, Pilsen is a seat of the bishopric and one of the main tourist destinations for those who trace the footsteps of faith in the West of Bohemia.
