Angel of Good Fortune

The so called Angel of good Fortune is one of the most popular souvenirs.

A small pendant on a leather string reminds of the best known Pilsen legend about a fortune bringing angel. Where can you find the original angel?–There is a Baroque lattice at the eastern side of the Cathedral of St. Bartholomew, decorated with angelic heads. For hundreds of years, the Pilsen citizens come to touch one of them. Why just the only one? Why don’t you read the legend about the angel yourself?

You can buy the Angel of Good Fortune in the Pilsen Information Centre or in the ticket office of the St. Bartholomew’s Cathedral tower.
