  • Night with Opera – Turandot  (June 29th) 

After a year, the Lochotin Amphitheatre will host a magnificent open-air opera event again. This year, Puccini's opera Turandot can be enjoyed in its scenic staging. A unique musical and visual experience awaits you.

  • Beer Tapping School (July 13th and 28th)

Proper beer tapping needs a lot of practice. You can learn beer tapping from real brewery beer tapping masters in the Pilsner Urquell Brewery entertainment programme. Refresh yourself with the Pilsen twelve-degree beer which is served with special brewery goulash and in a beer glass carrying your name. The unforgettable 3 hours of fun will be taken care of!

  • Behind the door is…theatre! (July 16th – 18th)

The Mill Race will get alive with theatre and music performances of both Czech and foreign performers during the Vivid Street Festival. You can have look into the life of two ladies – conjoined twins and also you will be amazed by the new-circus performance of the CINK CINK CINK ensemble.

  • Gems with the smell of petrol (July 19th – 22nd )

In DEPO2015, all admirers of historical vehicles are invited at the third weekend in July. This year, it will be mainly Italian brands such as Bugatti or Lamborghini, but you will also see a collection of the legendary Czechoslovak company focused on the production of Metalex formula cars, shiny historical vehicles of the Skoda brand or Harley Davidson motorcycles.

  • Summer Baroque Festival (July – August)

The Baroque jewels of the Pilsen Region can be visited easily thanks to the Summer Baroque Festival. Many sightseeing locations will get alive with the period cultural events full of music, theatre or gastronomy. You can also look forward to and enjoy period guided tours, Baroque fireworks and period fashion

  • Exhibition 100py: One Hundred Years of the Republic through the Eyes of Five Generations (May 17th – October 31st)

The creative zone DEPO2015 has prepared an interactive experience exhibition called 100PY: One hundred Years of the Republic through the Eyes of Five Generations. Look at the story of a Pilsen family on the background of the important historical events of the past century. The exhibition is complemented by various audio-visual elements and original objects borrowed from famous Pilsen-born inhabitants. Read our article about the exhibition.

  • Farmers’ Market (every Saturday)

Every Saturday, the Republic Square carries the smell of sausages, fresh pastries, marmalades, herbs, chocolates and many other delicacies. Verified regional high-quality food, seasonal vegetables and fruit waits for you on the stalls. You will certainly not be disappointed even if you decide to have breakfast right on the market. Farmers’ Markets are located in the area between the City Hall and the St Bartholomew’s Cathedral and they start always at 8 am and finish at noon.

  • Guided Tours of the Loos Interiors

The apartment interiors designed by Adolf Loos for rich families of leading industrialists in the period of the First Republic belong to the architectural treasures of its time.
