The Festival BLIK BLIK Lightens Up Pilsen at the End of March
The light festival BLIK BLIK lightens up different spots in Pilsen every year and as in the recent years it promises a spectacular experience while strolling in the evening atmosphere in Pilsen streets. During the last year´s festival the weather was so freezing that the organizers have decided to change its date for spring. The visitors will be able to observe unconventional video-mappings, original light object and much more. You may visit the festival on Friday March 29th and Saturday March 30th, each day from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. Even though the festival programme has not been finalized yet, we already know it will be worth coming!
Enjoy the festival
The festival tour will light the city centre. It will start in the cultural centre DEPO2015, continue along the Škroupova Street to the central Republic Square and then to the Brewery Museum. You may look forward to 16 light installations. The majority of them will be accessible for free. You will also be able to see four interior installations for 50 CZK. There will be enough spots to get a drink or small refreshments during the route.
Go on the Moon
Without any doubts, the main highlight of the festival will be seven-metres wide hyper-realistic Moon by the British artist Luke Jerram. The enchanting work of art was created in the cooperation with the NASA photographers. Thanks to this you will be able to observe its smallest details. The spectacular show for hopeless romantics and space lovers will be installed in the bus hall in the DEPO2015. It will stay in DEPO a few days longer after the festival. Do not miss the change to see it!
