This Year the Blik Blik Festival of Light Attracts to the Enchanted Forest
Blik Blik Festival of Light in recent years is one of the best events the winter festival season in Pilsen has to offer. This year's event, which will take place at the last weekend of March, will take you out of the historic centre into the nature. The Lobzy Park will transform into an enchanted forest. On Friday and Saturday between 7pm and midnight it will be illuminated by 13 light installations by domestic and foreign artists. It is an ideal opportunity to combine a trip to Pilsen with a unique experience
This year's route, lined with light installations, will take visitors from the ALFA Theatre, along the Úslava River, through the Lobzy Park to Rolnické Square. On a magical evening stroll through the enchanted world, you can experience a fireflies whirl, interactive installations, video mapping and a star swarm by Japanese artist Yashurio Chida.
Organizers will reveal the programme in stages. But it is already clear that a trip to Pilsen at this time will be really worth it. Part of the festival route is free of charge, while the other part requires a ticket. Traditionally, you will find refreshment stalls along the route.
